Formal and Voluntary Obligations

As a Web Provider Mosh-e must comply with Federal Government Acts, including the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988, the Privacy Amendment Act 2000. As part of the Mosh-e commitment to protecting your privacy, we monitor our compliance with these regulations.
In addition we have introduced some in-house practices that further increase the levels of security and privacy our customers can expect. In essence, Mosh-e is committed to providing a reliable and secure service whilst protecting the privacy of its customers.

In order to provide the most efficient, user friendly and highest quality services it is necessary to gather certain information about our customers. This information can be divided into two broad types:
Generic information that provides general site usage details, and Personal information that is unique to the individual customer.

Generic Information

Many of the ways in which you interact with our site allow us to learn more about you. We collect and store statistics and other information about visits to our site on an aggregated basis. From time to time, Mosh-e may provide aggregated statistical information about sales, browsing patterns and navigation techniques to reputable third parties. This is not personally identifiable information, and assists Mosh-e to improve products and services offered.

Other sites visited via Mosh-e may collect information through the use of cookies or other tracking methods. Cookies are small segments of text that are used to store information about you and your site visit. They are transmitted to your web browser for storage on your hard drive. The information gathered is retrieved by the original site upon your next visit. Allowing them to tailor you views of their site to your previous preferences and recall previous transactions.

Personal Information

When joining Mosh-e, information such as your name, contact details, operating system and billing preferences were collected. This information is necessary for us to provide quality service and support. We will not disclose any personal information without your express permission, unless required by law as a result of a warrant or other legal processes.

We do not monitor which web sites you visit or look at what you put in written communications such as emails, news articles, or chat rooms and forums. Our staff will not look at or read any written communications unless it is necessary to resolve a technical issue. In almost all cases, we will clearly inform you of the need to do so, and we will seek your permission before opening your mailbox on our servers.

Whilst Mosh-e undertakes all reasonable steps to protect your personal information, sending and receiving information over the Internet is always at your own risk. No guarantee can be given that information sent over the Internet is completely and 100% secure.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through communications services, such as chats, forums, communities, instant messaging, or other services provided by or via Mosh-e or third parties, this information may be collected and used by others.

Mosh-e encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to view so that you understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. Mosh-e is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content with respect to any third party websites.

Updating Information

Only authorized Mosh-e personnel have access to your personal information, which we keep in a secure environment. Updates to you information can be made over the telephone via the Mosh-e office. To use this service you will need to provide your username and password, and possibly other personal details as a security measure, before any customer personal information is revealed or discussed. Keep your passwords and account details secret. If un-authorized access of your account occurs please inform us immediately.

Information Security

Mosh-e makes every effort to ensure the security of your personal information. There are security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed 100% secure. We recommend that you never reveal your password to anyone. You will never receive a request from Mosh-e for your password information in an unsolicited phone call or e-mail.

The privacy policy described here applies only to Mosh-e, and not to other companies' or organizations' Web sites to which we link, or which link to us.

Information about Children

Mosh-e takes reasonable steps to ensure that access accounts are not provided to children under 18 without parental consent or the consent of a responsible adult. To the extent Mosh-e is able to determine the age of users by their communications with our Web site, Mosh-e will not knowingly:

For the limited purposes of accomplishing such cooperation and measures and in compliance with applicable laws, Mosh-e may be required to disclose personally identifiable information as defined lawfully. Mosh-e may elect to monitor the areas of communication of any kind to satisfy any law, regulation, or government request; if such disclosure is necessary or appropriate to operate Mosh-e; or to protect the rights or property of Mosh-e or others.
